Sharebee for Slack

Ready-to-publish content, delivered straight to your team in Slack.

Sharebee is an employee advocacy platform that helps companies turn their employees into brand ambassadors on LinkedIn. The Sharebee app for Slack notifies your team the moment new content is ready to publish, so nobody has to remember to check the platform.

The app is installed by a Sharebee administrator from inside the Sharebee platform, which means the „Add to Slack” button sits behind a login. Full step-by-step instructions are below.

What the app does in Slack

Once installed, Sharebee posts a notification into the Slack channel chosen during installation whenever new content becomes available in your employee advocacy program.

  • New content notifications – a message in your selected channel each time new posts are added to your Sharebee content library, with a direct link to the platform.
  • One place to look – your ambassadors stay in the tool they already use every day, instead of checking another dashboard.
  • You choose the channel – notifications go only to the channel selected during installation, nowhere else.

The app posts messages as the Sharebee bot. It does not read your conversations, message history or files.

01
Step 1. Sign in to Sharebee as an administrator

The Sharebee app for Slack is installed from inside the Sharebee platform, so the „Add to Slack” button is behind a login. Only users with the Administrator role in your Sharebee organization can install it. Regular ambassadors do not need to install anything.

Go to app.sharebee.pl and sign in with your administrator account.

Your organization does not use Sharebee yet? Request a demo and our team will set it up for you.

02
Step 2. Open Integrations and click „Add to Slack”

In the left-hand menu, go to Settings and then Integrations. Find the Slack card and click the Add to Slack button. You will be redirected to Slack to authorize the app.

03
Step 3. Choose your workspace and channel, then approve

Slack asks you to select the workspace you want to connect and the channel where Sharebee notifications should be delivered. Review the permissions the app requests and click Allow.

If you want notifications delivered to a private channel, invite the Sharebee app to that channel first by typing /invite @Sharebee in Slack.

04
Step 4. You’re connected

After approving, you are redirected back to Sharebee, where the Slack integration is marked as active and shows the connected workspace and channel.

From that moment on, your team receives a notification in Slack every time new content is available to publish. You can change the channel or disconnect the integration at any time from the same Integrations screen.

First, check that the Sharebee app is still installed and has access to the selected channel. If the channel is private, the app must be invited to it with /invite @Sharebee. If everything looks correct and notifications still do not arrive, send us your workspace and channel name and we will investigate.

09

A Slack workspace administrator can remove the Sharebee app at any time from the workspace app management settings. Once removed, the app stops sending notifications and its access tokens are revoked.
